Going Forward . . .
Theresa is currently pursuing a reunion with her son. She and her husband, Mike, own and operate a renovation business. They live on an acreage near Calgary, Alberta, where they enjoy all of nature and the quiet surroundings. Theresa serves on the leadership team of Lifespring Community Church, devours crime fiction novels, and enjoys the wind in her face as she rides her Harley©.
The Book's Prologue explains that "Grief is a profoundly personal journey. And while many losses are acknowledged by society, others connot be spoken of - may not even be considered legitimate. Women who placed their children in closed adoptions betwen the 1950s and the 1980s know both the severity of grief and the confusion of the silence that was imposed on them."
